Do not write. in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

I wanted to use this NFC reader to write to cards/tags but it doesn't seem to have that feature. The instructions also list another product.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Modern

Good device, not fully supported by Windows

I couldn't WRITE the tags in Windows but it read them very well. I actually had to use Linux to find a good tag writer for it. However, it's not really the product's fault, and it's very reliable.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Updates available

Software not working

The hardware arrived on time and I also had the URL of where I could download the software. It did not work. They have SDK and drivers online but they don't have any software that can be used to work with WIN/Mac read/write. It's really terrible.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Out of fashion

This is what you need for all NFC requirements except for the chip.

It worked exactly as advertised. I can read and write NFC chips all day long. There are no problems with the item at all. I plugged it into my USB port, launched the NFC tools and recognized the device and had no problems. Easy. Not a bit complicated.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Nothing here

If anyone tries to buy this device to create NFCTag for Amiibos, it won't work on PC. The only option is libnfc for Raspberry Pi or nfc project for Linux. It would be easier to evaluate the device if software for testing was available. These free programs made the device readable, but no write logs are available. Most of the…
