Ice cubes are easy to eject, love the size and the fact that it comes in a pack of three. They really only pop out when you press on the back. It comes with a hard plastic lid for each tray, which is handy for stacking (note that stacking increases freezing time significantly), but they don't snap onto the tray itself, just sit on top because the hard plastic will warp . when it freezes. It's not too much of a problem for me, they still make it easy to get all three items in the freezer. All in all I am very happy with these ice cube trays!
