I ordered two of these, with two charges of shipping (because of Revain not the vendor). This vendor had EXCELLENT customer service, very friendly, and very prompt to answer my questions. I asked about discounted shipping, they explained how Revain worked with that, however, she refunded me the second item's shipping once my tools were delivered. I wasn't sure I really needed to add another tool to my gumpaste tool kit as I have a tendency to over-gadget but now that I have used this on several projects, I don't know what I did without it. I really love it for removing excess gumpaste while using the Tappit letter cutters. I'm very happy to make room in my tool box for this gadget.

Never would have thought something so simple could make icing sugar cookies so much easier, but this scribe tool is definitely a huge help with spreading the flooding icing around, and a multitude of other cookie-related things. Bought two. Love them!

Came in super bent up but luckily I’m able to use it still just have to find a good angle to use it correctly Needle eventually rusts.

Wife uses this tool to help ice her sugar cookies. I've got no experience using it, just see the nicely crafted results though.Somewhat pricey (at the time I purchased) for such a simple, mostly plastic tool, but she states that it does its job well.

It's a wonderful tool that I use in decorating/designing the icing fon my sugar cookies. Don't know how I went so long without it! Simply fabulous!

I couldn't find any other option so I bought this here, but I think the price is too high! I use this scribe for working on royal icing decorated sugar cookies. It works well and saves me money on toothpicks.

I could not live without this tool! I used to use tooth pick and needles to pop royal icing bubbles and spread flood icing to corners- this tool is far superior. Worth every cent!

Just as expected. That's my review! I use this tool to take the bubbles out of my icing when flooding sugar cookies. Works great.

So I kinda take responsibility for this but was still surprised at the results. I got this; it worked exactly as expected. But after two uses, I left this in water overnight and the tip got rusty. Lesson learned, don't do that again. But then on the third use, I was washing it and the entire metal tip snapped right off. I'm Torn about whether to buy another or just get something else. Not sure if I got a defective one or if the tool itself is really this delicate.

I really like using this with my royal frosting on fancy decorated cookies. I use it to pull the frosting to the edges and to pop bubbles in my frosting. It is much more precise compared to using a tooth pick. The scriber needle cleans off easily. I wipe it off with a damp paper towel in between cookies and clean it with soap/water when I am done decorating. It is very sharp - be careful! The scriber tool comes with a rubber cover for the needle so you won't accidentally poke yourself taking it

I bought this to help me up my decorating game with regards to flooding cookies and such. It's such a versatile tool for me as I've been using it not just for royal icing, but also when I pipe chocolate on wax paper. Super happy with this scribe tool and if you like decorating cookies and cupcakes, I think this will be a great tool for you!

I use this as a boo boo stick for cookie decorating. My one and only complaint is the packaging. In the package the needle is covered by a plastic sheath for safety, which is awesome. However, when I got it I thought I had ordered the wrong tool, so I did not open it. I ordered another one and it looked the same. I opened that one and lo and behold! It was just what I needed.

I bought this to use with royal icing. I love not having to use a toothpick to rid air bubbles, it spreads icing into corners easily, and making patterns as shown in online tutorials is incredibly easy! Never thought it would work as easily as it did. I'm not an expert at the perfect icing consistency etc etc.it doesn't have to be perfect for these tools to work

I used to use toothpicks when decorating cookies to swirl colors, but they immediately get gunky and absorb too much food coloring. The scriber needle is the perfect tool to use because it's ultra fine at the tip, and it doesn't absorb colors. Just wipe with a napkin and you're ready to swirl or blend again. It's definitely worth the cost if you enjoy decorating.

Good quality scriber needle that I use for cookie decorating. Works well for this purpose. It has a good weight but is slightly shorter than I was used to in my previous scribe so took a little getting used to. I would recommend it.

I love this tool. It came with a cap, and is super easy to use and clean. I bought it to help me make decorated cookies and it helped me smooth out my royal icing well. It was my first time and I couldn't have done it without this tool. It pops the air bubbles easily and spread the icing to the desired spot. Highly suggest this apart of your pastry tools.

The needle is much sharper than I expected! However, it works very well as an icing tool - great for precise marbling techniques.

It helps poke all the bubbles in my royal icing after pouring it. One very handy dandy tool! Shipping was fast and this tool is one of those staple tools used in my cookie icing world.
