I have several scribes for cookie decorating and this one is my favorite. It's very comfortable to hold, like writing with a pencil, and isn't heavy in your hand.

This tool is great for working with royal icing. It is comfortable to hold and works perfectly. I also like the needle cover that keeps it protected during storage.

That said this particular PME tool is way overpriced look around for lessor alternatives, I just didn't have time to indulge thriftiness. Perfect for decorating with royal icing. My first time working with a Sciber Needle, loved it and ordered another to use when I'm working with multiple colors of frosting.

I loved it until it broke. I've had it less than a month and the tip of the scribe just broke off as I was using it to decorate some cookies. I had to find something at Michael's to replace it as I'm reluctant to buy another one just in case it breaks again.

I only wish the cap was bigger, as I have lost the tiny tube of plastic that came on it. Otherwise it's very nice. Too delicate.

I actually use this as a nail art tool! The thin, sharp tip allow me to easily watermarble and create beautiful designs for 1/3 the price of a tool made for it specifically.

This is not the most comfortable scribe tool but certainly will get the job done. I am using it for cookie decorating and can feel the difference in comfort between this pencil style shaft versus the bulb style you may find elsewhere. Overall I believe for the price this is a good product that will get the job done.

I bought this scriber needle as a gift to my mother and she really liked it! It arrived well packaged in bubble wrap and the delivery itself was very fast. My mother said the needle is firm and well attached to the body of the tool (she had similar tools in the past where the needle was very flimsy or even fell off the tool). This works great and it is a well constructed tool. I use these on decorated sugar cookies to pop air bubbles and work the outline and flood together for a seamless look. This is comfortable in my hand to hold for dozens of cookies at a time. The only drawback is that the tip is very sharp so I have to be careful of how deep I push so I don't go to deep into the cookie

I love this needle! It is worth the money & works a lot better than tooth picks on cookies (a lot cheaper than throwing away tooth picks too). I use it only on my cookies to pop air bubbles, smooth out the icing, fill in corners, ect. but you can also use the needle on fondant to help pick up decorations off of your mat/table (like polka dots), help get fondant letters out of cutters/tappits, mark lines on cakes, ect. This is one my most used tools.

For the price I paid for this I'd hope the quality would be a bit better. Its sturdy enough I guess and it will get the job done. But the overall feel of the tool comes off cheap to me. Maybe charge less or make the quality better. I wish there were more options on amazon for this tool. But like I said, it'll do the job.

Love this! I use it every time I flood cookies and even when I decorate with my designs and to etch on the cookies. I wish I knew about this years ago. Its a good quality product with the metal to the plastic handle. I would purchase it again. I hope they have other colors.
