As usual, Spektrum is the leader in RC Transmitter and receiver electronics. I have a DX6 Gen 2 transmitter which I used to program the receiver. Very straight forward. Word of caution. When you fly the plane with the newly installed receiver. DO NOT USE the SAFE mode. Once you have reached a high and safe elevation switch to SAFE mode. This ruler is working fine, stiff when projecting the ruler is fine. I'm finding the black background and white lettering a bit hard to quickly read, could be I just need a bit more practice as I'm used to the green. The outer cover being black was an immediate difficult to find on my work bench so I applied bright yellow paint to it and I'm set.
