Feels solid but the accompanying parts were pretty flimsy.

I was very happy with this stand. There are a million stands like this and I figured they would all do for a basic TV stand. Well, what I got wasn't very good, of course. It was easy to assemble, the instructions were clear enough and it had all the necessary tools. Once put together, it looked good and felt solid. This is where my positive experience ends. Once I had the TV set up and placed in place, everything seemed fine, but as soon as I tried adjusting the stand's height by inserting the small silver stops that went in and out of the holes in the stand, I noticed it that one of the stoppers didn't engage or protrude through the holes like it should have, so the bars were essentially only supported by a stopper on the right side. On closer inspection, the design of the small metal connectors doesn't look very good. I tried taking a small screwdriver and adjusting the metal plug that wasn't coming out of the holes properly after I failed and adjusting the height up and down a bit if needed, the second metal plug on the other rod slipped in in the pole, so I didn't have a single click to mount the TV at the desired height. Now I'm pretty much forced to set it to the lowest possible height because both stoppers have fallen into the bars and won't engage. The stand still works, I just can't get it higher which is a bit disappointing. I won't even return it even though I could. because I don't want to take 20 screws apart, disassemble the TV and try to put everything back in the box and send it back. If the little metal stoppers weren't so poorly constructed and falling into the bar, this would be a great stand. I am attaching a photo of the support beams and you can see that the two metal stoppers are nowhere to be seen because they are stuck in the racks. If I were you I would probably consider buying a different stand. Very disappointing but I still give it 2 stars because it still holds up my TV and the build quality and parts seem pretty solid. Unfortunately I can't adjust the height.
