Increases the volume

I like the small size that doesn't take up much space on my desk. The color is ok. I would have preferred white, but I can live with that. It took me a while to figure out that I had to use the boost button along with the volume wheel; I figured the wheel would increase the volume on its own and the boost would make it even louder. I finally figured out that I have to press the boost button and then adjust the volume wheel. It made an awful squeak on the highest level, but as I "scrolled" it down it adjusted to a level that I find useful without the squeak. Sometimes he makes a tinny noise when I speak, which is a bit annoying but I can deal with that. The ringing is actually a nice old-fashioned sound, but too quiet for a phone for people with hearing impairments. My old Princess phone rang much louder. I think they just released a new version with a louder ringtone. The buttons are very large, I didn't need them, but they can be useful for people with vision problems. Sometimes they are a little tight and don't quite press. I chose to keep the phone because it increases the volume of the incoming speaker and that's the main reason I chose it.
