Luckily the replacement works fine

I bought one for my elderly mother who is losing her hearing. At first I tried several other models but this was the first model that fit her. So I bought a second one for another room in her house and this unit arrived DOA. Luckily the replacement works perfectly. Problems: 1) There is a volume "wheel" on the handset that moves slightly. This may not seem like a problem to most people, but it is a problem for an elderly person with poor eyesight. Considering my mom doesn't notice if she…

Increases the volume

I like the small size that doesn't take up much space on my desk. The color is ok. I would have preferred white, but I can live with that. It took me a while to figure out that I had to use the boost button along with the volume wheel; I figured the wheel would increase the volume on its own and the boost would make it even louder. I finally figured out that I have to press the boost button and then adjust the volume wheel. It made an awful squeak on the highest level, but as I "scrolled" it…

A very good phone, with which the sound can be amplified significantly.

A very good phone that can optionally increase the sound significantly at the touch of a button. . The phone received was technically a Clarity C210 model, renamed the C200. I believe the two models are the same, the C210 was originally for sale at Radio Shack. One of the downsides is that you should be able to wall mount it, but the tab described in the literature that allows you to wall mount it isn't there. Fix: I was able to wall mount the C200/C210. The phone's instruction manual refers to
