These shoes fit my burly toddler very well whose foot width is almost equal to his length. They are light and fit well on the foot. My problem is that the laces broke out of them a few weeks after wearing them. Now it's possible he was fumbling with them and that's why they fell apart, but in any case I had to pull the laces out completely as they came undone at the top. The positive side of these shoes is that they work great without laces, which seems to be more for beauty than functionality.
