Review on 3 Sided Toothbrush Brushing Assorted Colors by Gerald Mcrae

As I am using this product, I wanted to test another reviewer's claim that sorbitol is a "carcinogenic artificial sweetener". I researched a number of resources including Wikipedia. Sorbitol is a natural chemical found in many fruits, but is artificially synthesized because it is not economically viable to extract it from fruits. So yes, it's correctly called an "artificial sweetener". However, among the possible harmful side effects, I did not find any risk of cancer. There seems to be a risk of gastrointestinal issues (diarrhea seems to be high on the list). I have been using this product for several years with no apparent problems. Since this is the only dog toothpaste that helps my dog stay still while brushing his teeth at home, I personally believe that the risk of health problems is greater if I can't keep my dog's teeth clean, as I have found triple- Toothpaste for Dogs Pet EZ. Since, as mentioned, it cleans the dog's teeth so well, I think my 5-star rating is justified.
