Works like a charm as I was hoping. I used to use speaker wire running from my receiver across the living room floor under the sofa to the rear speakers. I covered the wires with carpet. It was ugly. The carpet buckled as it covered the (thin) wires. i hated it I didn't want to buy a set of wireless speakers because I have a full set of Bose Cubes. I would either settle for cheap sounding speakers or I would have to spend a lot of money on decent ones. Since I already had good speakers, I liked the transmitter/receiver system. In the past I've had several different TVs to send TV signals to different rooms in my house, so I figured there would be one for the speakers. Surprisingly there were only a few! At least for a reasonable price. So the connection was pretty fast. It's always difficult to pull out the receiver to get to the back to connect the speakers, but that's not the product's fault. As soon as I plugged it in, I paired and got a good, reliable connection. But I had no sound from behind. General. The volume on the device has increased. Nothing. Searched the net, found someone who has the same problem as me. The problem was me! I inattentively read the instructions and confused the transmitter with the receiver! (Transmitter is the smaller unit of the two) After I exchanged them and reconnected them (e.g. by pressing a button) everything worked great! It's been a while since I bought this device, it still works great.
