I had problems with sensor contamination and the self-cleaning function did not receive anything. I've tried my rocket blower but to no avail. I've bought several kits that claimed to clean the sensor and they've all been useless. Ultimately, it came down to a simple sensor brush that removed 99% of the dust from my sensor. I was left with a speck of dust that couldn't go away. I was about to wet clean when this pen arrived. The dust lens allowed me to pinpoint exactly where the dust was on the sensor, and the stylus allowed me to move it around. I couldn't remove it with the pen but now the touch brush was able to get rid of the stain. Now my sensor is 100% clean and like new. So if you're using it as part of a kit, it should work just fine. All you need is a rocket blower, touch brush, dust lens and pen.
