I have Invisalign aligners that I used to clean with a toothbrush and toothpaste, but I wanted to find an easier cleaning method. I stumbled upon the SmartGuard cleaner which turned out to be just what I needed. I've been using the cleaner for about a week now. I know there isn't much time now to provide the most accurate review possible, but I felt it was necessary considering how well the product works. I leave the mouthguards in the solution while I brush my teeth (about 2 minutes), then rinse them out and put them back in my mouth. Trays come out clean. I had to go over it 2 more times with a light brush (read: not every time, only twice in a week with the solution). BUT debris/debris left on the tray is very easy to remove with a brush after a 2 minute soak. The 4-star rating comes from the fact that the peels have a very bitter, chemical taste after soaking in the solution, even after rinsing. I had to use mouthwash to get rid of the taste after putting the peels back in my mouth.
