I did not know what to expect from an urn, being my first time ordering one. It was bigger than we expected it to be, but other than that it seems sturdy and is a nice color. We have to figure out where to put it now, being so large and our house being so small. That's not the seller's fault or anything, though. Just never thought we'd have to find shelf space for my father in law, is all.But yes, it functions as a container for human remains, which was what we ordered it for. It has a screw top lid, which was a pleasant surprise for me. And it is a pleasant color and decent quality material. Not the fanciest jar out there, but a good jar for the price nonetheless. Overall, an excellent jar in which to store a loved one.
