Review on πŸ”Š LOXJIE A10 Red Class-D Stereo Power Amplifier: High-Power Audiophile Level Amp Chip TPA3116 for Desktop by Brian Avila

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very Mediocre - Home Theater

This is a very mediocre amplifier. It doesn't hold up well when there are high current demands. However for the price. maybe it's ok However, this is only normal if there was no hiss! It hisses between 25% and 70% volume. Normally I don't care, but it matters here because the hiss is stored when the audio is played, not the other way around. Usually with such amps the noise goes away when playing an active sound, but not with this one. It would be a pretty perfect bookshelf or satellite amp if it weren't for that hiss. I also think the rear pillars are too close in strength and line. There is too great a chance for crosstalk. Since the review called for a volume knob, I'll note that the rise in sound pressure is fairly linear, but the knob is fairly flimsy.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • So far so good
