This solution is almost perfect for saltwater aquariums. Not only does it polarize the particles in the tank to bring them together and make filtration easier, but it also charges the filter media, allowing it to attract more particles during normal filtration. I've only seen good results from this when used either in a starter cycle or in installed tanks.
