Best choice for reef

The best food for all types of filter feeders. In all my time in the aquarium and reef hobby I could not find anything better for my reef.

Excellent food for corals

I don't know what to say specifically about this product. I've had coral for a while and use other (cheaper) products. I use this along with other products to provide variety for different corals. Since using this product I have noticed deeper and brighter colors. But I also use a few other things so I can't attribute that 100% to this product. It is not good to feed corals the same food every time. This item requires refrigeration unlike some competing products. But I've found thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

3 months twice a week

I've been using it twice a week for 3 months. I have LPS, SPS, Zoa, Paly and many more corals in my tank. I feed blender mash, cyclops, brine and regular fish food. I put this stuff right into my LPS and SP along with some vitamin supplements. My LFS is positive about using it, although they say it's in a 'bottle' and you need to keep it cold, which I don't think is a substitute for 'real living' organisms. A 16 ounce bottle lasts about 2 months, which worries me a bit as 2 months plus any time

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Awesome but follow the instructions.

Sea snow is a great way for your filter feeders and corals to keep food particles in the water column. It is nutritious, stays in the column and keeps your aquarium active. Don't just water it. It's thick and slimy. Pour it into your tank while your powerheads are running and add it right on top of the powerhead so the powerhead can grind everything up into tiny bits. Your fish love it, your corals love it, your fanworms love it. Even my fragile star seems interested. Every time I dose theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • A nuisance

Is it worth it? I don't think so

Have been using this religiously for about 6 months. There was good coral growth. Pass five around. When I ran out I simply stopped ordering out of laziness. Then, a few months later, I had an epiphany. Everything in the tank grows at the same rate as before. At least as far as I can tell. I haven't used any other product either. I have gone from using only Marine Snow to no coral food at all. And guess what? Corals are fine without. Snake oil in a bottle? I'm not sure. Perhaps a biologistโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup

  • is confusing

This was recommended by my LFS

I used different coral foods. This was recommended by my LFS. I asked my SPS what they prefer, they just stared at me in silence.

Pros
  • . This product is made in the United States.
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Very confusing. about food

When so many good reviews? This product was an oily gel floating on the water surface. I've tried both room temperature and the fridge then poured it down the drain. Absolute waste of money and my time. I went back to the reviews and searched for the word "gel" and found others saying the same thing.

Pros
  • This product is easy to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

good food for corals good for eating

when I first used it I actually expected snow particles in the tank but it didn't. but the corals seem to like it when our Kenyan tree expands after we put it in the aquarium. We have a variety of horns, softies, shrooms, skins, hammerheads, sternpolp, zoas, etc and they all seem happy so I'm happy! Haven't seen a dramatic change in coral size or color but have only been using it for about a month so time will tell. Recommended for people with coral saltwater aquariums

Pros
  • Two Little Fishies sea snow
Cons
  • good but not great

Must have for reef aquariums

I have been in this hobby for about 4 years now. Bought two 30g clowns and decided if I had salt water I would have real coral damn it. I bought a bottle of this drink, kept it in the fridge, boiled it well and fed it to my tank with frozen brine shrimp or myzi shrimp about once a week, and my corals (and eventually pink bubble anemones) were thriving and bright. The colors were Great. Feeding more than once a week increased phosphate levels, but the corals would love that. I definitely noticed

Pros
  • Filter feed for marine invertebrates that feed on solids and dissolved organic matter
Cons
  • Nothing
