when I first used it I actually expected snow particles in the tank but it didn't. but the corals seem to like it when our Kenyan tree expands after we put it in the aquarium. We have a variety of horns, softies, shrooms, skins, hammerheads, sternpolp, zoas, etc and they all seem happy so I'm happy! Haven't seen a dramatic change in coral size or color but have only been using it for about a month so time will tell. Recommended for people with coral saltwater aquariums
