Received on Wednesday and have been trying for 2 days now. It is extremely easy to use and very accurate. 2 AAA batteries are required for operation, batteries are already included with the scale. You just have to remove the plastic strip to activate it. Step on it and wait a few seconds for the weight reading to stabilize. The numbers are accurate and easy to read. Next to the battery compartment is a button that allows you to change the unit of measurement (lbs or kg).
