I absolutely LOVE this belt, the design, the idea behind it and the ease of use. constantly adjusting and adjusting my belt depending on whether you are sitting or walking. It's easy with the Mission Belt. I bought my first Mission belt about a year ago and I use it every day, it's great. The tape was strong, perfect thickness and easy to use. The clasps, where the buckle clips are discreetly hidden, give the impression that they were made by people who care about the product. Using it every day I lost the loop on the buckle. While I think the Mission Belt says a lot of warranty, I've decided to just buy a new one. The new belt (leather) itself is thinner and almost an inch shorter than the old belt. Although the buckle appears to be the same as the Mission Belt, they've obviously decided to lower the cost of their leather. The clip, which was inconspicuously hidden on my old belt, is now clearly visible through the upper leather on the new belt and looks quite gaudy. The quality of the strap is now similar to Walmart. I am disheartened that the $45 belt appears to be of such poor quality compared to the first one I bought. I'll probably leave it at that, swapping out the buckle for my old leather belt.
