Follow These Steps To Succeed

I felt compelled to write this review because there seems to be a lot of confusion about this product, particularly the application process and how long you leave it on your issue have to. I have used this on several pieces of jewelry with my 2 micron gold plated pieces and the application went very smoothly. Appears to fill in a few blemishes on the gilding and shavings of the previous clear coat. I can't say anything about the quality and durability yet. But it seems their number 1 complaint is the application. 1) CLEAN YOUR ITEMS THOROUGHLY! 2) Use a blue polishing cloth, to buff (clean) any remaining tarnish or stains (all dust, dirt, fingerprints, everything. If you're lazy at this step, your finished product will show) 3) It comes with an amazing top brush, I think a nail polish brush . Apply a LIGHT FIRST COAT! One of the biggest complaints I've noticed is people complaining about a white coating or a thick finish that they can't polish. This should not happen if the application is correct. Consider applying nail polish again. DO NOT load the brush with too much product. Apply the color lightly, removing excess color as you mix. It is very important. What happens if you put on a lot of nail polish and don't remove the excess, until it dries? Looks terrible 4) Drying time. I wasn't sure how long it would take to dry so I emailed the seller to confirm some information. It seems, this is another missing link that has led to complaints. Yes, the longer you let the product cure, the thicker the result will be. The recommended drying time is 5 to 60 minutes depending on the product. I've left mine on for anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour (accidentally) and it's still not dry. But you do NOT want it to dry/harden on your piece. They want it healed. Difference. So yes, it was still wet every time I polished it (clean). I'm not sure how others get the impression that they put too much product on their clothes and then let it dry overnight? This product will last a long time, use as little as possible. You can easily apply additional layers with more control than if you hastily applied a ton of product to the first layer. hoping to cut corners. This is your fault, not the seller's or the product's fault. 5) Use white polishing cloth to add shine to it, CAREFULLY. Until you know how your item will react to this product, all applications and steps should be done with a gentle hand. It shouldn't be smarter. Once you have polished the product to your satisfaction, it dries. BUT I wouldn't recommend wearing (if jewelry) the full 8-12 hours just to be on the safe side. In a nutshell; Do not apply an excessive amount of the product, do not leave the product on for more than 60 minutes. No crying in baseball. This is just my honest paid customer review because I absolutely hate people who leave bad reviews for products they don't understand or can't use. not the fault of the sellers or the product. 5) Use white polishing cloth to add shine to it, CAREFULLY.
