The first one I got showed a pair of vertical lines in yellow and blue. HP replaced it under warranty. The replacement makes a loud buzzing noise when the image is displayed. The noise disappears when the computer goes into sleep mode. I don't use speakers. I called HP within a year of the original purchase. They said the warranty was expired. The support rep suggested that Revain is not an authorized reseller and therefore the warranty started from when Revain bought it from HP and not when I bought it through Revain. HP's website says Revain is an authorized reseller, so maybe the support guy was wrong and actually assumed I might only have 90 days for a replacement, let alone the full year I originally had should have. .I have no problems with it except noise. The picture quality is amazing. But I'm trying to think of someone I know who is hard of hearing.
