What can I say? This is my daughter's first pair of roller skates and the strap came loose after only 5 uses. She can barely ride them, but apparently that was too much for a weak belt? We soon bought them for a roller skate birthday party and they broke before we even got to the birthday party. Unfortunately, it took her a while to start using them, so of course the return period has already passed. 50 bucks down the drain. Something else. The protective gear that comes with it is a joke. Don't plan to use it. I would get a replacement if I could, but I bet the belt will break again. It looks like it wasn't actually designed as a functional piece but more as a decorative element as the material of the strap is very flimsy. I would definitely advise my daughter not to even velcro it up. As long as it doesn't bother you.
