Review on 🚦 OEM Third Brake Light Assembly for Dodge Ram 1500-5500 by Fredrick Edwards

Bought to fix a leak in my cab. Certain victory! There were obvious signs of a leak when I removed the old light. Seems to do the job I bought it for as the padding is good and snug - I'm waiting for the next rain. FYI, evidence of a leak can show up in multiple places in your cabin. My 2014 RAM 1500 kept getting waterlogged in the storage compartment under the rear passenger seat, and in very heavy rain the water actually got into my windshield. This is a really simple and easy installation. Unscrew the two screws, pull the lamp out at the bottom to remove it and unplug it. Install in reverse order. Two notes: 1) There are two plastic dowel pins. Know where they are during installation. There are holes in the body for them. 2) Hold the mounting screws and soft plastic washers when removing the old lamp. Mounting screws and washers are not included in the scope of delivery. All in all, it's definitely OEM as advertised. The seal appears to be tighter than the original. I would only replace the gasket but the plastic on my old headlight was becoming brittle and there was some delamination. I have included pics of the mounting hole on my truck, pics of the old headlight and gasket, and pics of the new headlight. I do not regret this purchase.
