Best first crayons good for me

As a pediatric occupational therapist, I highy recommend this as a first crayon for scribbling. The shape of the crayon easily fits inside a little hand that can be held in a fisted palmer grasp pattern ( whole hand grasp) ,(a more mature radial palmer grasp (morebmature hand grasp of the thumb, index and thumb fingers against the palm), and facilitating separation of the thumb side of the hand from little finger side of the hand for achieving increased mobility of the fingers from a stable…

Pros
  • 🔵FUNNY BUILDING BLOCKS CRAYONS- Not only used as first painting crayons for kids to develop creativity and imaginations, but also could be used as building blocks to develop intelligence. Package includes: 1 x 12 colors crayons (new packaging).
Cons
  • 13. Not suitable for use on dark surfaces

Cute but questionable

I don't love these or hate these.after getting in the box and seeing how, 'made in China' they are (I say that because of the wording on the box 'please be care of us of child under 2 years') but it has the EN 71-3 label and to my knowledge the EU has higher standards of what they allow in products than the US so that does make me feel like they are probably legit, but due to the wording on the box I wonder.I've just heard so many stories about things from China not being complaint or having…

Pros
  • These crayons will be used to help a toddler child learn colors and develop fine motor skills
Cons
  • My 3 and 2 year old played with these once and we already have 3 broken crayons. Not worth the cost.

These are AWESOME: my feedback

Literally the only downside is the price but that’s so subjective. For us it was worth the "splurge” because she loves them and can actually color! She couldn’t color with regular ones (she was only 14 months) but she could with these! She loves stacking them too. The only downside is they’re not like the egg shaped ones that are a lot harder to break (I’ve heard) and one shattered to pieces when my husband stepped on it. Whoops! Also I would say if your kid has teeth don’t let them bite them…

Pros
  • They break very easily, especially with toddlers throwing them.
Cons
  • 6. Not suitable for older children or adults

Easy to use on my review.

So I work with infants up to 15 months this past year and my older infants 12+ were able to use them easy for them to grab in their hands and try to color for the first time. I really like these I would recommend this to anybody who is young children, I’m older children would love the ease to use them. They do say the durable but one of my children dropped one and it broke so durability not so much but the quality and the easiest to use for them was great

Pros
  • Love these. So cute. I love putting them on my fingers
Cons
  • 5. Crayons are small and can be lost easily

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not washable best in my review

My 2 year old daughter loves these crayons. They are the right size for her to hold and she prefers them to traditional crayons. She also really enjoys stacking them and putting them on her fingers. However, they have some downsides:1. Not easily washable. These crayons do not wipe off surfaces with soap and water. I guess I got used to Crayola and assumed all crayons were washable.2. They break when dropped. We've had these crayons for about a week. Half of them are now broken. Some at the…

Pros
  • I love these! Easy to grasp for little hands, non toxic, and draw easily. Definitely will get again!
Cons
  • 4. Can stain clothes and surfaces

Non Toxic, Crayons for toddlers

Great little crayons for a toddler. They are pretty small, not even as long as my fingers, which originally was a disappointment to me. I couldnt believe how small the box was that they came in when I knew there were 12 crayons inside, but he disappointment quickly went away when I saw my little girl play with them. They're a good size for my one year to color with (might be a little bit harder for you as an adult with bigger hands if you're coloring too, but managable!) And they also stack…

Pros
  • Comes from a well-known and trusted brand
Cons
  • 70. Does not produce fluorescent colors

Beautiful color palm-grip crayons are perfect for little hands.

When I found these palm-grip crayons I knew that my grandson would be able to color in his coloring books with these. I watched him struggle with regular crayons and even bigger crayons. They are beautiful colors and extremely well made. He is a year and a half and wants to do art like his big sister. The palm-grip crayons allow him to do just that!

Pros
  • Great for developing children's writing skills
Cons
  • 63. Not recommended for use by children with emotional or behavioral issues

Safe and interesting.

This crayons are super easy to use. Shape is amazing. My toddler cannot leave them alone. I like that it is safe to use and nontoxic. Will purchase more. Even I like drawing with them.

Pros
  • Portable and convenient for on-the-go use
Cons
  • 25. Not recommended for use by children with sensory processing issues

Very disappointed best in my review

The concept of these crayons is nice. My toddler loved them and it was fun for her to draw with them. However, I have wood and tile floors so the first time they fall from her holding them they shattered. I would not purchase these again I will stick to the jumbo crayola crayons.

Pros
  • Durable construction prevents breakage
Cons
  • 36. Can be difficult to remove from carpet

Easy to hold. on my review.

I bought these for my grandson who is 20 months, and he loves them! They are very easy for him to hold and color with. He also likes to stack them. This is really a great product!

Pros
  • Stackable design allows for easy storage
Cons
  • 27. Not suitable for advanced art projects

Very pleased: my feedback

I like that our 16-month old granddaughter can not only hold these crayons easier, but she truly enjoys stacking them over and over. The only thing I don’t like about them is a few of the tips have broken completely off, when she dropped them on our laminate flooring. She’s not that tall, that it was a great distance for the crayons to fall. I felt it shouldn’t have broken so easily. Other than that minor thing, these are a great product and I might order another set!

Pros
  • Smooth and even application
Cons
  • 21. Does not produce vibrant colors

Great for little hands!

The reason I didn’t give them a 5star is because I haven’t technically given them to my Granddaughter. She’s a year and a half, I did give her one to try and she squealed with delight as she scribbled on a piece of paper. It was easy for her to hold, too.

Pros
  • Drawing & Painting Supplies
Cons
  • 12. Odor can be unpleasant

Great for young hands

Grandson had a set and used them all the time as a toddler - needed a new set for his baby sisterThey do have a certain life span

Pros
  • Non-toxic material ensures safety for toddlers
Cons
  • 17. May cause skin irritation for some children

Broke immediately for my opinion

We had these for all of 5 minutes before my 15 month old threw it and it broke. Not durable at all for little ones who throw. Also, my kid could fit the crayon in his mouth, so you have to be on your a-game while using this. We ended up boxing them up and putting them away until he’s a little older. Will need to buy something else in the meantime.

Pros
  • Children can work on any surface with these crayons
Cons
  • 53. Not suitable for use on wood

Perfect for little hands

Bought these for my one-year-old. I was excited to start exploring art with him. He was instantly captivated by these crayons and gradually learned that they can be stacked, nesting inside each other. Now when we do "art" he spends a lot of time simply stacking them. He's only 14 months so he's just fascinated with exploring how different objects look, feel, and work together. The crayons are very easy for little hands to grip, and he has only broken one so far (in almost 2 months of almost…

Pros
  • 🟢WASHABLE and EASILY GRIP - The crayons are washable with hand soap; Very smooth writing and drawing for easy and safe creativity. Easily hold the large round base provides little artists' sometimes uncoordinated little hands with exciting ways to play and learn.
Cons
  • 15. Can be difficult to sharpen

Great First Crayon set!

Purchased these for our (then) 13 month old daughter as her very first set of crayons. I thought the unique design would allow her to hold them well, and I was right. The fact that you can stack them up also provided some extra fun. Also importantly, they color well and don't at all seem to be "waxy."They seem to be made well, as they have no broken despite my daughter's roughness/throwing/occasional bite.

Pros
  • Non-greasy texture makes it comfortable to use
Cons
  • 33. Not suitable for use on gloss paper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

15 month old not quite advanced enough to use.

My 15 month old is a little too young to understand the concept of how to hold. She wants to hold the skinny end that is meant for drawing. They seem durable so far because she has attempted to bite them and hit them against the paper and they have stayed intact with a couple of uses.

Pros
  • Allows children to create personalized gifts for loved ones
Cons
  • 66. Not recommended for use by children with fine motor skill disabilities

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not edible- arrived broken

The product states it’s edible but children should not eat these crayons. When arrived 4 tips were already broken and once my young children tried using them they broken easily. Not worth the money.

Pros
  • We've had these for almost two years now so I'd say they've held up pretty well!
Cons
  • 3. Can melt in high temperatures

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great for small hands

Purchased these for my 14 month old son. They are well made and durable, survived many drops and throws. He loves to stack them and take in and put of box. He is now 21 months and starting to really use them for coloring. They work well for him easy to hold and use. I would buy them again.Only drawback and it is minor is the coating makes it hard to draw at first. Very minor inconvenience and vastly outweighed by all the other benefits. Once they are used a few times much easier.

Pros
  • Comes with an easy-to-follow instruction guide
Cons
  • 61. Does not produce watercolor-like effects

Amazing for little hands

These crayons are absolutely amazing! I ordered them for my one year old for Christmas. After inspecting them and testing them myself I absolutely can not wait to see how she handles them!

Pros
  • No mess or fuss with these crayons
Cons
  • 35. Not suitable for use in outdoor settings
