Durable and Perfect Size

is such a durable toy! My grandchildren 2 and 4 both love it. The size of the screws is perfect and I love that the boys are learning what reverse means the screws loosen in the opposite direction of tightening. Another interesting feature is that the front tires are smaller than the rear tires, a lesson a four-year-old first had to learn the hard way. Why didn't the last tire fit? (because he put a small tire on the rear axle, which meant the big tire then had to fit on the front axle, and it was too big to fit in that space.) Yes, the cab has to fit exactly, but it is possible. and teaches the boys to take their time and work on accuracy. Bonus points for an engine under the hood! It's easy enough to lose either bit around the house, but don't worry, each bit will fit on the studs. I've read reviews complaining about the sound of the drill, but none of us found the drill "loud". In a toddler's home there are always all sorts of noises to deal with. a drill doesn't bother any of us at all. Overall a great toy.
