Not enough space and limited configuration

Excess is the best word to describe this product. The outer shell has a semi-rigid wall with numerous shallow pockets. Inside there is a zipper insert. I can't think of a reason to remove this lining, so why the zipper? Inside there is a soft lining with two flat pockets that are only accessible after removing the lining. The insert even has carrying straps on both sides. What is the point of removing the insert and carrying it with you? The insert has a long soft divider that divides the insert lengthwise, three thin dividers and two thick spacers. Thin dividers account for two-thirds of the insertion depth. This leaves a third of the insertion unseparated. Maybe for a telephoto lens? I can't figure out what the thick pads are for because they aren't spacers; They're just thick pads with velcro on one side. Like the suitcase, the case and insert have several carrying straps. what to do with them The suitcase has several pockets inside and outside, which do not allow for large expansion. The zipper that closes the case is solid, but I have to make an effort to get it to enclose the corners. And the rain cover isn't even built into the case. It comes in a separate bag so it takes up more space. The quality of this case is high, but the utility is small. This suitcase just doesn't hold much, it's oddly shaped and bigger than it needs to be. I think if you jump out of a plane with a camera and some lenses then it will most likely protect your gear. I'm also confused by the price of this case. If I paid for it I would return it immediately. Not recommended unless you only have a few pieces of gear and plan to travel in rough terrain where your suitcase could fall off the mountain.
