This claims to do more than I want it to, ie only disable data lines. I have two reasons and I have confirmed that this works for both. First, I don't want computers trying to peek inside my smart devices. That's what makes it great. My devices do not detect the presence of a computer when connected to a network. Another application is cars. My Ford blocks Bluetooth when something is wired. This solves the problem of charging the phone without knowing the car. My wife can charge her phone while I connect my phone to the car via bluetooth. Without them, the car assumes you just want to use the connected device. Your quality is high. Nothing loose or sloppy. What I can't verify is that this allows for fast charging as documented by others. I just didn't test.
