This swimsuit wowed my aspiring dancer with its amazing color. She didn't want to take it off. I like that the skirt is not sewn on and can be worn separately. The fit was great on my petite mini. The rubber band seems to be stretching a lot, so there is room to grow. I have washed and air dried before use and had no problems. I didn't see the washing instructions so I used the gentlest cycle I had and washed it alone because of the light color.
