This is a fantastic mask for colored hair that needs a little TLC. Dyeing your hair is rough because it forces the cuticle to open up to deposit dye molecules. Hair can become dry and brittle, causing it to become dull and frizzy. The AG mask does a great job of moisturizing your hair without making it heavy or greasy. It's not as shiny a mask as I was hoping, but it does leave hair softer and shinier. Just make sure to rinse it out of your hair well, otherwise it can get a bit sticky once it dries. If you're looking for something to make your hair super shiny, opt for a shine product rather than a temporary conditioning mask. As opposed to a glossy finish that seals the cuticles, the cuticles are simply smoothed out.
