I was excited to get these on a stressful day. I decided to try them out right away to help relax me before bed. The first thing I noticed was that these only last for 7 months after opening. So if you are like me and don't use these products often, you will want to make more of an effort to use them within that time frame. I opened the package and was met with a rush of fragrance. I could almost taste the lavender. I was nervous that the smell would be too much but tossed it in the shower and the fragrance was really underwhelming. Once I put shampoo in my hair I could no longer smell it any longer. The actual disc did last my entire shower and actually made me take a few extra minutes longer until it was dissolved completely. If you use unscented products in the shower, the scent would hopefully last longer. I did feel relaxed after the shower but I don't think I can accredit that to the shower steamer but more the warm water from the shower. I would maybe try the eucalyptus ones since they seem to have good reviews but will definitely pass on the lavender again.
