38 years of installing just about every light imaginable and this one really made my day with a sticker template. This was a great idea if anyone thought of this many years ago, the light itself is light weight and very bright. The IC rating is very important to me when installing recessed lights and this works very well, good value for money Ratio, if you look at it in a similar way Built-ins in large hardware stores are 15% more expensive, built-ins are installed flush with the ceiling. This is what was needed in my 5 year old grandson's room (likes to play basketball at home). The glass beads were an issue and the plastic beads are so thin I believe this light can withstand abuse as this is my first purchase I can't speak to the average lifespan of the light but so far I am happy with it and can recommend it
