Thank goodness I chose bigger packaging. They are made of harder rubber than others and don't remain as reliable as I had hoped. For example, if you need to remove and reattach everyday uniform pins, you can try a different brand. They wear off easily and don't stick. They are less reliable than metal ones and make no noise when they hit the ground. The only positive comment I have is that they hide very well in the carpet when they fall. And they WILL fall. If your pins have long tips, they definitely go through the back. All I can say is they're better than an eraser in a pinch.
