I purchased these because I wear a suit to work every day and keep finding that my lapel pins keep falling off or the backs keep loosening up. These locks work wonders keeping a lapel pin attached AND STRAIGHT on the lapel. You do have to put some pressure on it when installing it but unless you don't mind your pins rotating, this is not an issue

How have I not known about these pin locks before now? I was EXTREMELY pleased that I will not have to be constantly worried that I will be losing my pins whenever I bump into things, or set my carry-bag down. The package did not include instructions so it took me a few minutes to figure out that the little black dots went into the holes in the product, but once I understood how it worked I was a pin-locking fool. I love it, i wont' lose my pins, just make sure the pin is facing the direction you want when you tighten it, lol . there were a few defective ones, so you don't get a full 30, so I'd expect a better vetting job of defects, but nothing to lose my mind over. These are super secure! I can hold up my bag by the pins and shake, and they still don't come off. I used to be afraid to put my pins on anything because I thought they'd fall off, but now my backpack is covered with them! Theses are very easy to use, just put the tiny screw-like thing into the cylinder and tighten with the included hex wrench. I put all the screws into the cylinders in advance without tightening them so they don't get lost, and so it's easy to just pop them on and tighten. I…

But.I was shorted 1 allen screws and 2 other allen screws had deformed hex indent heads (3 total unusable) so I paid for 30 and only 27 that are actually usable.Now. even 27 locking pin backs are more locking pin backs then I will probably EVER use in my lifetime, BUT if you expect to receive 30, you might not get 30.Still, the price I paid, even if I only received only 27 usable locking pin backs, is still pretty good.So. 4 out of 5 stars.

I bought the new pin bag from the Disney store that holds all your Disney pins. I had some of the pins that had the original back on it and they kept falling off of my bag. Well I love all my pins and I dont want to lose them. I found these on here and tried them out. At first I couldn't get them to stay on the pins. As an employee of an ebay Fullfillment center there are pins that are handed out for special occasions called Peccy pins, if you lose one it is extremely hard to find a replacement for them so these are amazing at keeping them on my vest. I have tugged on them and they have caught on things but never came loose! Never have to worry about losing a pin again or be super cautious as to work around them!

I got tired of losing my pins and this was the perfect solution. First one was a little bit of a learning curve as they come with zero directions. Having said that it wasn't hard to figure out. hint the recessed end goes towards the pin. Easy to reuse and move pins around too as long as you have the supplies tool. Also, smaller fingers will make this easier lol.

Hard to use. The back of this device sticks back about 1/4 inch and though it is not sharp, it is a bump against your skin. The allen wrench set screw is too hard for a human without a magnifying glass to install.

Works great! The pins stay put and I don’t have to worry about losing any anymore. They also came packed in packs of ten and I appreciate that!

I have been using all kinds of pin backs both in civilian and military life. These little guys are tough enough that I can use on a motorcycle jacket and not worry about them. they are deep enough that I do not get poked by the pin backs, and overall quality is great. Recommend to anyone that needs to keep that special badge or pin on, have already given some to my kids and ordering more.

So far so good. I bought these to secure my pins on a backpack that I wear hiking. So far they have secured all of my pins. The only drawback is, is that you have to be careful that you don't over tighten because you can break the pin part off of the face. I did that to 2 of my lapel pins but I think that it was all my fault.

These pin keepers worked as expected. It came in two separate ziplock bags (with an alen key in both) inside a whit bag. Use these to keep my pins from falling of my back pack as a commute to work a motorcycle. Haven't lost a pin even at highway speeds. I use it on my Hogwarts coat I made and my Hogwarts Santa hat. I can’t have those pins come off when wearing my coat in the -1° C here in Norway. So these are an easy place on and forget it.

I used these to keep my Disnwy pins secure. These babies aren't going ANYWHERE. They completely cover the pin post, so no worries about pokey pins, but they aren't so long that they're obnoxious. Super easy to install, too. I pressed the pin face against my knee to secure it while I screwed in the little screw.

These are beyond amazing. They're a little bulky I guess but not really a problem. I've lost cool pins before so I haven't placed enamel pins on bags or jackets for a long time. I appreciate the customer service!I didn't realize that you need the little "L" wrench in order to take the pin on and off. If you want to wear the pin, it's awkward to use the wrench in order to twist in the black dot. I would return this product, but apparently it's not eligible for a return. I am definitely disappointed with this purchase.
