Does not keep foot in place, foot slides forward. I love the design and colorway of these flip flops but they need some tweaking. The part above the foot should hold the foot securely in place. I ordered my size 12 and it seemed big to me so I ordered an 11 and it was too small. I sent 11 back and am struggling right now with my foot slipping in the front of my 12. The underside sounds like flip flops when walking, so a bit noisy for my taste. In terms of convenience, you get what you pay for. They are just "close"! Better than wearing steel toe boots after a 14 hour day on your feet.
