I have sore feet but I'm mid 30's. I hate winter because I can't wear my Birkenstocks anymore and I have trouble finding comfortable sneakers. Most "orthopedic" shoes are for the elderly in less trendy styles. I've ordered and returned several Vionics because they either don't fit well or just look like it. like what my grandma would wear (no offense to my wonderful grandma). Enter these shoes. They're cute, narrower than some other Vionics (which might be a problem for some people, but a plus for me), and they have decent support. The support isn't amazing (their sandals are better) but better than average. I don't know how long they will last because I just received them. Also, I would ignore their sizing chart - based on what I wear at Birkenstocks (40), I ordered an 8.5 the first time, which was way too small. 9.5 (which I wear with other brands) fits perfectly. Just note that the arch area is quite drafty (literal shoe holes are intended), so while they're 'good' for winter, I wouldn't wear them in snow or maybe even rain.
