I bought this to build with my sons. The first step to solving this puzzle is to sort and discard the unwanted pieces. My kids have completely lost interest in this step. I included a picture of a pile of chunks that needed to be thrown in immediately. That's not even all of them! The company seems to have missed the opportunity to simultaneously hire an unskilled worker and deliver the finished product to consumers. When I finally finished scattering the pieces, I found that the puzzle assembly instructions were also rubbish. They are black and white - do not help at all. I've been trying to assemble it without instructions for days, but I can't do it that way. I had to look online for color guides and print them out (after finding the printer). The whole process was so frustrating and my kids didn't want anything to do with it. In the end, it felt more like a chore than a fun project. I gave that 3 stars anyway because I'm sure there are people out there who will have fun building a 3D puzzle without instructions. It's just that my brain doesn't work that way.
