For quiet bikes or electric alternatives this will (maybe) work. But for any bike going down and up the freeway, it's not loud enough at all. It is completely muted, especially with earplugs. My device due to bad wiring (I think) randomly increases the volume to max volume very quickly and pauses the audio. This makes it almost useless to use alone. In addition, the language of the device was somehow switched to Japanese. So good luck trying to understand the battery level or whatever the device is saying.
