Review on PetSafe Manners Minder Remote Trainer by Lisa Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it! Great help with doorbells, noise, separation anxiety and nail clipping. Remove crumbs to avoid jams.

I love this thing! For several months I wondered if I could justify such an expense. Last month I heard rumors (which I haven't verified) that PetSafe, the only company that makes and sells them, will stop making Treat & Train. I'm not sure if that's true, but I finally got one and it was the absolute best solution. This helps especially with my disability so I don't have to run back and forth to my dog's multiple times to treat her because she stays on her bed while I'm in the kitchen. So it really helped add value to her bed when I'm not around. And it helps reduce sensitivity to doorbells and outside noise, promotes calm, reduces overly loud greetings at the door, and reduces separation anxiety in the kennel. And surprisingly, it helps with nail trimming! For me it was definitely worth it. I use their grains (Go! Duck Sensitivity & Shine Limited Ingredient Grain Free) with the large punch wheel and it very, very rarely gets stuck. Gives out 1-3 pieces. It jammed when I tried to switch to a wheel with small holes. One piece could go through the small holes but when 2 pieces tried it got stuck. Then when I went back to the big holes it got stuck for 2 days until I finally got all the crumbs out. That was 3 weeks ago and since then it has only jammed once, although I use it every day, multiple times a day and long every day. FYI, Batteries: They come with a remote battery, but *not* 4 D batteries
