Used to remove some stock parts from my 2006 Silverado 2500hd LBZ. It's well sealed with no exhaust leaks I could smell or smell. Didn't use a torque wrench. I only tightened the nuts to squish the metal bars that compress the clamp as much as possible without cutting the threads. Highly Recommended. I've also tried a U or C shaped bolt and saddle shaped exhaust yoke which kinked the pipe on the sides and caused an exhaust leak. I welded these cracks and stopped it. This clamp is much better here imo.
