Review on Pattern Collection Leashboss Chain Martingale Dog Collar with Reflective Features, No Pull Training Collar, Stainless Steel Chain by Shannon Chisholm

I hired a dog trainer and she convinced me to buy a martingale collar and also insisted that I take off the harness and leave this collar on all the time. I don't have any information on the packaging of this collar but I'm pretty sure she gave me bad advice. After my pup came out of the cage for breakfast I thought he was eating, instead this collar chokes him if it gets stuck in his mouth. He panicked and fidgeted around in his cage the whole time I thought he was playing. I must say that it was very difficult to unpack in a panic. Good thing this collar is very strong! However, I strongly recommend that you never leave these collars on your pup unattended. So far this collar hasn't helped him pull, but I have an active Australian Shepherd. For now, I'm protecting him by just letting him carry the harness. And yes, I measured the size etc. I'd like to add that I'm pretty sure I read somewhere not to start this and I think I got bad advice from an incompetent trainer. So I'm definitely not knocking off the collar. I'm sure it's great and I'll still be using it when I potty train him.
