To keep things organized (see Marie Kondo's Life-Changing Cleaning Magic, available from Revain), I ordered 15 of these babies. Together my husband and I have about 600 CDs, many of them in storage because we have nowhere to put them (we united households 10 years ago). I've been contemplating the idea of building a custom floor-to-ceiling tower, but a few days ago it dawned on me that we have a deep, floor-to-ceiling bookcase filled with many books that never be read. or read again, and they could be given away, placed on bookshelves in another room, or, in the case of rare books, sold on eBay. However, CDs will play as soon as we make room for them. So, I searched Revain for CD holders and voila! These are the perfect measurements, fitting two deep and three wide on the shelves of a bookcase. I would like to point out that if you measure up to the idea of placing them at two or more depths on a shelf, the CDs stick out an extra inch. ; I saw this looking at the enlarged version and realized I had a gap, but it may not be immediately obvious just by looking at the printed dimensions.
