DC/DC 12V To 24V Boost Converter 40A 960W - Waterproof Voltage Regulator Module For Car Power Supply (10V-16V Input) Review

I used it to power a 12VDC radio system on my 48VDC golf cart and it works perfectly. Something to remember.it WILL draw current from the batteries and stay powered up even if the radio is taken out of the circuit. I added a high amp toggle switch between the ground wire from the batteries to the unit to keep it from draining the batteries when not in use.

I have ordered three of these 25 amp units from revain, between May 2022 and June 2022, that have not worked and I have returned to revain. I have experience with the 20 amp units that regulated the dc input to 13.8 volts and worked perfectly. revain must have a bad run of these 25 amp units. I just ordered a fourth unit utilizing revains excellent return policy. I will update my rating if the fourth units actually works. Works perfect! I was a little worried about doing it since I didnt see anyone with the set up I was trying to achieve in my RV. But basically I installed 12kw of lithium’s in my 5th wheel but its all 48v so I still had to keep the old flooded lead acid batteries for all the lights, slides, jacks, etc. I took 4 of these and wired them into my 48v lithium and then on the other end wired it right into the same wire the old 12v batteries were. I just replaced mine with one I got a year ago. I am running a RV solar system with inverters and lifepo4 batts @ 24v so I down converted to 12v for lights ect in RV. When this works its awesome.It died on my 1/2 way into a 8000 mile cross country road trip. And no local stores sell these. What a mess! So I replaced it with a new one and everything works. I guess I will need a spare on hand for when this next one goes out. I cant find anything about a warranty or expected life from it.

Been using this for about a year now coupled with a 1000w pure sine wave inverter. I understand it isn't for this use but it's been working great.

At first glance it looked ok and well made. Then I noticed the Cllena brand was just a sticker placed over the top of a different brand/maker that sells this exact same unit. This alone doesn't really bug me, then I noticed that the 24V yellow wire insulation stops at the grommet (it does not go inside the unit. So it is somewhat loose and in my opinion kind of dangerous. Using this to guarantee a steady 13.8v output from a 12v battery box for some finnicky equipment. Works as it should. Have used two 10A models as well for about a year without any problems. Seems to be a quality device

We ordered this to power an inverter that requires a 24V DC input. When the inverter did not power up, we contacted the manufacturer. They were prompt and courteous in their response. They told us it cannot be used to power an inverter so we returned it. Overall, we think this appears to be a well made item and, except for using it to power an inverter, we think it is a safe item to purchase.

I bought 2 of these units for a 12 volt stereo system for my 48 volt golf cart. They work great. No problems at all. The converter may be noisy during operation, potentially causing irritation to drivers or passengers.

Does not seem to deliver the full amperage needed. I bought the 36/48 to 24v 10amp. I was using this to spin a 24v dc motor from a 36v 6amp lithium battery but it does not work

Used on my newly electric motor driven sailboat. I needed to step down the voltage from 48V to 12V to power all my accessories. I simply tap into my 48V supply and ran wire to my electric panel and everything is powered: bilge pump, radio, running lights, etc.

it's been working great just off the 24 volt system my two water pumps the front things that go up and down and everything else is 12 volt works fine including my two diesel heaters so far no problems I did buy the 13.8 volt one which I think is a better bet than the 12.2 cuz has more power to run the pumps and have more water in the shower and what not but I've been pretty happy with it

For the price, this is a great item. It works perfectly for to specs.I personally had an issue with electrical noise on the golf cart. I purchased this to provide 12V to an audio amplifier on a 48V golf cart. Unfortunately, the electric brake caused quite a bit of noise to be transmitted though the 12V.
