It can't be used to power an inverter.

We ordered this to power an inverter that requires a 24V DC input. When the inverter did not power up, we contacted the manufacturer. They were prompt and courteous in their response. They told us it cannot be used to power an inverter so we returned it. Overall, we think this appears to be a well made item and, except for using it to power an inverter, we think it is a safe item to purchase.

Works but I had to wire in a fuse and switch because it does draw down the batteries even when not in use, otherwise it works as expected

Works perfect on my 48v golf cart. The converter comes with a 15 Amp fuse, Just connect correctly. It''s very simple to use.
