. this to use in my office and it is perfect for that role

I bought this to use in my office and it is perfect for that role. It is powering a pair of Energy RC mini speakers and it seems to be a very good match.

Pros
  • Auto on/off.
Cons
  • The compact size of the device may cause it to overheat during prolonged use, which could lead to significant damage or malfunction

Very nice little amplifier

I'm using it for compute audio. It drives a pair of old Minimus 7 just fine and I also use it with Sony MDR-7506 and Grado SR80e headphones. It's a very quiet amp using either the analog input or the USB. Quite pleased.

Pros
  • Nice little amp! The front panel LED's are way too bright but the sound is good.
Cons
  • power brick died within 6 months

Bye Bye Bass on my review.

This thing neuters the bass and punch on headphones, just lifts the mids and highs. The sound is better from my 3.5mm laptop port than this. I have 24 bit 96000khz songs and it only handles 48000 16 bit so that's another thing. If you listen to mp3s it might help a bit but if you have higher quality music and headphones don't bother

Pros
  • Elevate your listening game with precision-engineered DAC technology - the Aimpire AD10 delivers crystal clear audio quality, right down to the deepest bass notes and highest treble ranges. Whether you're streaming music, watching movies or immersing yourself in the latest gaming experiences, this mini DAC offers unmatched sound precision and clarity
Cons
  • The lack of customizable settings or audio options may limit the product's potential for use in professional settings or by audiophiles

Been using for less then 60 days and it is .

Been using for less then 60 days and it is starting to fail. This amp was okay but after some use it just turns off and wont connect via usb. I have to unplug the device and it seems to work. Also if I have the amp cranked up to 100% the audio clips, no audio for maybe half a second. This happens about 3-4 times a min during playback

Pros
  • Customized Theydon driver + XMOS XU208 + ES9018K2M + OP.
Cons
  • The cable included with the device is relatively short, which could cause inconvenience or limit the positioning of the DAC

Aimpire is a D10 clone, avoid.

This is from the maker of Topping."We did not provide permission, did not provide technical support, and did not provide production. If we provide OEM to AIMPIRE or we are preparing a secondary brand, at least we will use the same glass lens to because it will not save much money to use cheaper one; and we will not mistakenly display D10 on connection of AD10; Of course we will not allow the products to be so similar; cutting performance is even more outrageous because customers will not…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The overall design of the device is relatively uninspiring and may not be visually appealing to all users

Connected on August 15 2016 - died on January 9th 2017

Have been using it now on my desktop and I am not thrilled with the audio quality. my device is connected to the USB and the sound output is totally distorted.Update: Dac blacked out completely on 1/9/2017 and I connected it on 8/15/2016 so it lasted a lousy 4 months :(

Pros
  • Exchangeable Op
Cons
  • The device may be too bulky or cumbersome to carry around for everyday use, making it less convenient for travel or on-the-go listening

Not for one seeking high quality

This item was bought to use as a stand alone DAC/Headphone amp. I have two different tube amps I wished to pair with this device. I compared the product to the Audioengine product here. https://www.amazon.com/Audioengine-D1-24-bit-Digital-to-Analog-Converter/dp/B006IPH5H2/ref=sr_1_1?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1485007924&sr=1-1&keywords=AudioengineThe Audioengine product is superior in audio quality and has better bit to analogue conversion rate.I used the Topping with FLAC audio files from my PC. I did…

Pros
  • Very good!
Cons
  • DOA...Did not work with Nvidia Sheild USB..

I'm impressed.: my feedback

I've had success in connecting this DAC to a Galaxy Note 3 (using a few different OTG cables). Excellent sound quality when compared to the phone's headphone jack. I haven't hooked speakers to the amplifier part yet, but it does an excellent job with a set of ATH-M40fs cans.

Pros
  • Amplifiers
Cons
  • The product is only compatible with certain audio systems, potentially limiting its overall usability

Small but packs a punch!

Great little amplifier. Used it on computer desk with some Teac LS 100u speakers, and sennheiser headphones, bypassing the computer's soundcard for better sound through the USB input.

Pros
  • Orange indicator of format & sampling rate.
Cons
  • Users may experience occasional glitches or audio errors when transferring from one source to another

3-in-1: USB DAC, Speaker Amp, Headphone Amp

One of the only units I could find at this price that acts as:- USB DAC (external sound card)- Speaker Amplifier- Headphone AmplifierMany competing units are 1-2 out of three, but rarely all three.I'm driving a pair of Polk Monitor 7B speakers, and Grado headphones with no issues.

Pros
  • Very nice sound, looks great on my desk
Cons
  • The required installation process for the DAC can be quite complicated and difficult for novice users to set up
