Strong Fuller Sound Than The Soft Whisper Sound Level Heard In Most Pre-Amp Headphone Jacks

The product is the perfect solution if you don't have a headphone jack on your pre-amp, or in my case, the headphone jack has signal break-up problems. I also like the choice between the XLR or RCA hook-up choice of connection.

Great Compact Class A Headphone Amp

Nice build quality, and smooth turning volume knob. The Circuit board is nicely laid out.It would be great if the manual came with a schematic.I use this amp on my computer with Audio Technica ATHm50x headphones and connect it with a pair of Audioquest Anaconda RCA interconnects. This setup gives me a reference-quality listening experience. About what I would expect for this price range. Worth the money, but still just a hundred dollar amp. You get what you pay for. It has enough power even to push 600 Ohm cans, but sound quality is not the best. Not too detailed. Poor separation, between intruments

So far so great! good for me

Sounds great. Pretty loud, louder than my (Fouusrite Saphire 40pro) sound card headphone out or my (Yamaha) mixing console's headphone out. I incorporated it into a pedal-board to have better sounding in ear monitoring on stage. So far it's working really well.

Smooth, Balanced and Articulate Solid State Sound

This is the best sounding, modestly priced solid state headphone amp I've yet to hear. Full bottom end without the "bloat" delivered by the SMSL SAP II. Very clear and present mids. Smooth, articulate treble without the somewhat "thin" sound of the original Schiit Magni. The SMSL SAP 8's sound is real audio treat. Not sure why this amp isn't more widely reviewed. In my opinion it's a winner, even if it is somewhat a "sleeper."
