Review on DC/DC 12V To 24V Boost Converter 40A 960W - Waterproof Voltage Regulator Module For Car Power Supply (10V-16V Input) by Matt Tito

At first glance it looked ok and well made. Then I noticed the Cllena brand was just a sticker placed over the top of a different brand/maker that sells this exact same unit. This alone doesn't really bug me, then I noticed that the 24V yellow wire insulation stops at the grommet (it does not go inside the unit. So it is somewhat loose and in my opinion kind of dangerous. Since the whole unit seems to be encased in some sort of epoxy, there is nothing I can do to fix it. With this combined with the sticker knocks it down to 2 stars because it seems there is no quality control, they just buy the unit from another maker, throw their sticker on it, and mark it up by $5 to $10. I went to the original makers website to look at the documentation. The info this seller provides is repeated word for word in the description for this unit. So I'll probably not get very far if I call them. Stuck with a potentially dangerous unit.
