In Africa we found two (sometimes more) different types of wall sockets. These worked well in Kenya, but in South Africa and Botswana the 3 prong plugs were cylindrical instead of flat like the ones on these devices. Flew internationally for the first time (Reykjavik, highly recommend) and this plug was super easy and convenient while also able to handle any and all charging needs. Great value to have by the bed and charge you and your SOs phones, or in the bathroom to use multiple devices.

What’s not to like? It did the job. Note that this a plug converter but not a voltage converter, because I am not going to worry about flat ironing my hair on vacation. B&Bs and hotels often have hairdryers if you want to tidy up the do anyway. For plugging in so we could charge our US iPhones, it was great.

Both the power outlets and USB ports worked well. I used it for travel in New Zealand. Same outlets are used in Australia.As they point out in the instructions, it does not convert the voltage from 230V to 110V. But modern computer and phone chargers seem to do so automatically, so no problems. For many other US devices, phone would need a transformer as well.

The only reason I took one star away is because I initially thought that this adapter converts electricity. The manufacturer has disclosed that information in the listing however it's not easily visible when you glance at the listing and you need to read the whole thing from beginning to end which I usually don't do and I suppose many other people don't do as well. This plug worked perfectly on my recent trip to the UK. It was nice to have the extra port, although I seldom used it. Used for travel in Italy!

I was on a 16-day vacation across New Zealand and Australia and could not imagine how I would have been without a power adapter like this. Each day I used it to charge laptops, phones, and a couple of other portable recording devices. Compact and easy to carry, I would highly recommend it.

This adapter did exactly what I bought it to do. I liked it so much I bought a second one to give to my sister. It plugged into the European outlet on the cruise ship I was on recently. It added a couple receptacles and 2 USB chargers. Traveled to Spain and Portugal, it worked perfectly for charging my phone, and plugging in my laptop and razor. That's my review.

Went to Ireland for a week with no problems charging a smart watch, phone, and vape. Did NOT use it for an iron, hair dryer, or laptop so not sure what damage we avoided, but it is perfect to keep Americans charged, and plugged into our phones.

If you have hair trimmer or hair dryers and plan to use this one for that it will break them. Just a heads up. It works great with chargers etc.

We bought this product to use on our two-week Mediterranean cruise. It worked great in our hotels in Spain and Italy, allowing us to charge up to 4 devices at the same time (2 on the USB ports, 2 with chargers on the AC ports.) This handy little adapter was so easy to use! We put the proper plug for Italy onto it and could charge 2 Apple phones and watches so easily. It was nice and compact so it didn't take up much room in my suitcase.Loved it!
