This is by far the best iPad 12.9" tablet holder (2018) I've found. It's not overly expensive, but it's not cheap either, so it's not cheaply made. It is well made of durable metal and plastic. Its articulated head offers a wide range of positioning options. It comes with a second head to hold your phone. I haven't used this head but it's exactly the same. *update* I used a phone holder head now. Works great, but like the iPad, the phone doesn't fit in the holder in the case. So I have to take it off to use the holder. Since I use it at night when I go to bed, it doesn't matter; I take off the case and put the phone in the holder and the case on the bedside table. When I get up, I put the cover back on. The benefit is that I now keep the inside of my phone case and the parts it covers much cleaner. :) The neck of the holder flexes slightly but stays in place and doesn't bend under the weight of the tablet. Since I have a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 2018 model, that's impressive. The clip is wide so it fits on many surfaces. It also looks good. Its simple white, gray and silver color scheme is perfect for any room or desk. I have one for bed use and one for my desk to keep the iPad at the same height as my computer monitors, which are on a dual stand mount so the line of sight height is the same when using a stroller or when I'm closing connected my iPad to an external monitor to work on it alone, the screens are also at the same height.
