Advantages: Has two rubber bands to close each end, grommets help identify which end is which for the rearview mirror cutout (doesn't match our other car - Suburu Forrester with a very narrow windshield), gaskets and quality of shield match not up to standard a little torn when trying to insert one of the suction cups - you have to be very careful, side window blinds not ideal for most car models (let's be honest what car has square windows these days?) The blind quality is flimsy compared to my husband's which is probably 1/3 thicker. My car temp was still pretty hot with shade. This at least protects my front inside from fading. There are many grammatical and punctuation errors on the packaging. I'm keeping this until I find something better because the Colorado sun is crazy.
